On a quiet evening of September 24, 1994, I witnessed a truly extraordinary event over Burlington, Ontario. For a full five minutes, a massive silent craft, shaped like a triangle, glided silently through the sky at approximately 125 feet altitude, moving at a leisurely pace of 25 miles per hour. This was no ordinary sighting—it was an awe-inspiring spectacle that has remained vivid in my memory.
The craft was immense, with a wingspan estimated to be around 300 feet. Its design resembled a flying wing, crafted from a sleek, metallic material with an overall black sheen that hinted at its otherworldly origin. The rear of the vessel featured sixteen exhaust ports, organized into four round clusters embedded deep, about 15 to 20 feet, into the body. Throughout most of its journey, these exhausts glowed with a bright white light, illuminating its path through the dusk.
As the craft moved silently over the city, it traced a distinct U-shaped flight path, a deliberate and haunting pattern that etched itself into the night sky. Then, without warning, a subtle change occurred—one of the exhaust ports flared, shifting from its steady white glow to a deep amber orange, an eerie signal that added an unsettling yet mesmerizing aura to the encounter.
To better capture this phenomenal sighting, I created detailed composite and close-up paintings, complete with a map to provide visual context to this remarkable event. This encounter, reminiscent of the legendary sightings over the Hudson River Valley, remains one of the most compelling UFO experiences reported in Canada. It draws enthusiasts and skeptics alike to ponder the silent mysteries that glide just beyond our world.
