On a cold and quiet March night in 2016, I found myself gazing into the dark sky above Barrie, Ontario, when suddenly, an extraordinary event unfolded before my eyes. At precisely 1:30 AM, a massive, brilliant white flash erupted about 20,000 feet above Northern Ontario, almost like something tearing through the silence of the night. The light was pure and blinding, illuminating the darkness for a brief moment. Then, almost instantly, a second explosion burst forth—a glowing green radiation that expanded outward, forming a large glowing circle against the starry backdrop.
I stood frozen, trying to comprehend the impossible spectacle. The dazzling display lasted around 60 seconds, an eerie spectacle that seemed both otherworldly and utterly powerful. To this day, I can’t shake the feeling that what I witnessed defied earthly explanation. Was it a secret military test, a celestial event, or something… beyond?
The memory of that night lingers, a haunting beacon in an otherwise ordinary sky. For those of us who watch the stars with a sense of wonder and unease, moments like these leave questions that refuse to be silenced.
