During a flight home from San Marcos, Mexico, as we neared Tijuana, I caught sight of an unusual blinking light outside the airplane window. The light wasn’t stationary; it dropped down sharply, then darted swiftly to the right before climbing upwards again. For about 15 minutes, this mysterious object seemed to track alongside our flight, moving with a life of its own across the star-speckled sky. At times, the light changed colors vividly — flashing from a cool blue to a warm orange — adding to the surreal experience. Suddenly, without warning, the light plunged straight down at a rapid pace and vanished, disappearing into the darkness.
What made the sighting all the more intriguing was the presence of aircraft nearby, suggesting a strange interaction or chase between the unknown object and conventional planes.
