Mysterious Triangular Craft Silently Glides Over Farmington, CT

While driving south on a quiet two-lane highway near Farmington, Connecticut, I noticed a strange object in the sky heading directly toward me. At first, I thought it might be a passenger plane approaching Bradley Airport, but the altitude seemed unusually low for a landing approach from that distance. Curious, I turned left onto Route 4, keeping my eyes fixed on the mysterious craft. It soon appeared to my right, steadily coming closer.

I pulled my truck off the road and rolled down the window, craning my neck to get a better view. The object passed silently overhead at a constant, slow speed, shifting to the left side of my vehicle. Straining to hear, I detected no engine sounds at all.

The shape was unmistakably triangular, but the rear corners were rounded rather than sharp. At arm’s length, it appeared about two to three inches wide— roughly the width of my fingers. What intrigued me most were the three large, square white lights centered on the bottom of the craft. These lights were unusual and unlike typical aircraft illuminations. Two white strobe lights flashed intermittently on each side, but they didn’t match any standard aviation pattern I know.

The craft flew in a straight, steady path headed north, and while it seemed secretive—possibly a clandestine military vehicle—I didn’t get the impression it was of alien origin. It didn’t perform any extraordinary maneuvers or emit any strange effects. Nevertheless, the eerie silence and glowing triangular form left a lingering impression—one that continues to haunt my memories of that quiet night in Farmington.
