Mysterious Silent Cylinder Lights Up Baja California Skies for 2 Minutes

Late one clear and calm April evening near the rugged shores of San Felipe, Baja California, I witnessed something that forever changed my perception of the skies. It was just after sunset, around 7 PM on the 25th, when my eyes caught a peculiar bright light moving steadily, silently southward about 30 degrees above the horizon. At first, I thought it might be a reflection catching the last rays of the sun, but there was something undeniably distinct about its shape.

I grabbed the binoculars I always keep nearby for birdwatching and was startled to see a definite cylindrical nose leading the light. The sky had grown dark enough that further details were hidden in shadows, yet I saw no wings or typical aircraft features. The object maintained a low altitude—no more than 1000 feet—much lower than any planes I’m familiar with flying this route. It traveled in a smooth, linear path with absolute silence, leaving no trail behind.

This two-minute encounter left me utterly baffled. The object’s movements and structure could not be rationalized by known aircraft, satellites, or any familiar aerial phenomenon. The calm weather and clear atmosphere only heighten the mystery of this silent cylinder as it traced its path above the Sea of Cortez. Despite my previous skepticism about unidentified flying objects, this experience firmly convinced me that some aerial enigmas are beyond earthly explanations. The unexplained lights over Baja California skies that evening continue to haunt my thoughts and stir the imagination of anyone daring enough to glance upwards at twilight.
