It was early evening, around 6 PM, and the sky was transitioning to twilight as stars began to appear. On a simple errand to the supermarket — just bread and milk for my grandparents’ dinner — my attention was arrested by a peculiar light hovering above El Cerro Colorado.
At first, it resembled a massive star moving slowly across the darkening sky. Expecting to see the familiar red flashing light typical of airplanes, I kept watching, but none appeared.
