On the night of April 21st, 2012, my family and I experienced something that would carve itself into our memories forever. As the clock struck 10 PM in Chilliwack, BC, a strange and unexplainable spectacle unfolded before our eyes — two bright, glowing orbs moving across the sky and vanishing repeatedly over four long hours.
At first, my boyfriend noticed one orb from our balcony and called me to witness what he believed was no ordinary sight. Initially skeptical, I thought it resembled a distant glowing streetlight, immobile and far away. Yet, as I focused, the orb’s altitude and immense size became unmistakable — it was far higher than any streetlight or airplane could soar. Then, without warning, it shifted slightly before vanishing into the dark.
Moments later, not one but two luminous orbs reappeared, gliding side by side. They moved fluidly, pulsing with light before fading—and then glowing fiercely again, as though teasing us with their presence. I hurried inside to fetch my father, and he, too, bore witness to these surreal lights dancing above.
As the night deepened, these orbs continued their eerie ballet, disappearing and returning, casting an otherworldly glow over the night. Even when my stepmother arrived home, she saw one orb briefly reappear, flickering against the black sky.
Compounding the mystery, a civilian plane began circling the area, and a helicopter was deployed to patrol the skies during the same timeframe. Yet, the orbs kept appearing, their brightness intensifying with each return.
This was no ordinary aerial phenomenon. Watching those glowing spheres for hours, moving in ways that defy explanation, I am utterly convinced that what we saw was a genuine UFO encounter. I managed to capture over ten videos of the orbs that night, hoping to document even more of these astonishing visitors.
For any UFO enthusiast, this sighting reminds us there’s so much more beyond our understanding, waiting silently in the skies.
