Eerie Twin Oval Lights Hovering Over Oshawa: A Night Walk to Remember

During a late-night walk on March 3, 2016, in Oshawa, Ontario, a peculiar sight held my gaze and stirred my curiosity. The night was thick with clouds, casting a muted veil over the usual darkness, when to the east, two dim, white oval lights hovered silently. They were stationary, their glow subtle yet distinct against the cloud-covered sky.

At first, I doubted my eyes, thinking they might be small, low-hanging clouds illuminated faintly from below. But unlike clouds, these lights remained fixed in place—motionless against the soft blanket of night. Their aura was ghostly, a haze encompassing the orbs, making them appear otherworldly in their stillness.

The lights seemed unusually low, noticeably beneath the cloud ceiling, possibly less than a thousand feet above the ground, though they were a mile or two away. Its surreal calmness compelled me to stop and capture the moment with my camera. The pictures I took around 11:40 pm painted a chilling tableau: twin ovals suspended in the night with an almost deliberate tranquility.

As I walked home, the strange lights stayed, undisturbed by my presence or the passing moments. This wasn’t a common sight; my nightly walks had previously revealed odd movements and fleeting glimmers in the sky, but nothing like this steady, mysterious apparition.

The experience left me questioning what I had witnessed—a quiet enigma amidst the night’s familiar shadows. Whether an unexplained natural phenomenon or something more, those twin oval lights in Oshawa’s clouded sky etched a haunting memory not easily dismissed.
