However, as we circled the area, our perception shifted dramatically.
Rather than a fire, a vivid red light hovered in the sky, its glimmer reminiscent of the burning flames below. Yet this was no ordinary blaze. The red light pulsated, slowly transforming into an intense bright white that illuminated the night like a beacon. Then, just as unexpectedly, it morphed back and forth between the fiery red and brilliant white.
