Chilling Encounter: Red and Orange UFO Lights Over Mexico’s Volcano

In the stillness of a dark desert road near Metepec, Puebla, our lives changed forever. Around 1 a.m., as we reached a place called El Mirador, beneath the looming presence of the Popocatépetl volcano, the night revealed a sight I will never forget. The darkness was so complete that I could barely see my hands. Suddenly, my family and I spotted a disk-shaped object hovering low beside the volcano. It shifted colors fluidly between red and orange, surrounded by a mysterious aura.

I scrambled to capture it on my video camera, but fate had other plans—the battery died despite charging it for hours earlier. My father snapped photos with a professional camera, hoping to document what our eyes were witnessing. Then, without warning, the object’s lights extinguished—perhaps disturbed by the camera’s flash. Moments later, my uncle’s startled cry drew our attention overhead.

There, just above us, hung a silent silver disk about a thousand feet high, illuminated by three glowing windows. Its surface shimmered with lights that pulsed from red to orange. No noise came from it. It lingered silently for about ten seconds before vanishing into thin air.

Suddenly, a powerful beam of light shot from a nearby field, and another craft approached, flying steadily toward us. Panic gripped my family. We hurried into the car, and as we tried to flee, the silver object pursued us. Our route took us uphill and back down toward Metepec. Glancing back from the hilltop, I saw the craft soaring above the town before disappearing from sight.

Years later, in 1997, I encountered similar beings near that same spot—aliens resembling the Greys but shielded by a glowing red aura. It seems these mysterious visitors are drawn to the volcano, possibly studying its magnetic forces or conducting unknown research.

Local reports from 1993 mention numerous lost dogs, perhaps connected to these eerie nightly happenings. The unusual crafts emitted no sound, possessed distinct windows surrounded by changing lights, and displayed eerie beams shooting into the sky. I have even witnessed fiery red orbs darting across the hills around Piaxtla, not far from Puebla, especially near full moons.

This experience opened my mind to possibilities beyond our understanding. Whether studying this dormant volcanic giant or observing from afar, these enigmatic visitors remain a haunting mystery. If anyone has insights into these flying red balls of light or sightings near Puebla, I welcome your contact. This night forever burns in my memory—a chilling reminder of how little we truly know about the skies above.
